Betty asks…

my poem , what do you think of it?

Out in the middle of Society
Everyone busy and hurrying
I feel as if i’m standing still
as everyone rushes past me

I walk home to where I “hang”
That word seems to be the new slang
Out in the country where I stay
Walking in the woods and amongst gods creation i play

Walking on the path made so long ago
Taking my time and walking slow
Past the animal’s and tree‘s
woods for beyond the eye can see

Everyone else inside their house
As I watch how everyone grows up
no one notices my Presence outside
for i’m as quiet as a mouse

I talk to them at the bus stop to school
I can tell how they’ve changed
I can’t be fooled

What happen to our younger days
In which we would all join in laughter and play
Snowball fights to kick ball and swimming
We’d all love to be on the team whose winning

From hot summer days
where we played sports and pretend plays
To cold winter nights
Roasting marsh mellows under the fires warm light

But now I stand outside alone
For I am one who as yet to accept to be grown
I want to play with all my neighborhood friends
But i’m afraid those times have come to an end

No one outside on the basketball court
No one at our club house resort
I knock on their doors to see if their busy
Of course they are but hey its no biggy

Oh how I now understand why adults say
To enjoy being a kid and don’t grow up to fast
the bright blue skies filled with grey
On the trampoline thinking I lay

I don’t like change for it dislikes me
Bringing terrible news and pity
But the more change comes
The longer it’ll stay.

Just rarely do I see a few outside with others
Or all of us with each other.
A party one night that Neylan held
That memory in which i dwell-ed

So here I stand and continue my dreams
Of those old days where were all just kids
But apparently time caught up to fast
If only it could last and now it seems
They will forever and always just be memories , dreams.

Thomas asks…

Name a movie in which the main characters get lost in a jungle?

Ok so this is just a thing about me, once in a while I would get sudden memories flowing back to me from since ever, and then I would be trying as much as I can to remember all of it. Most of the time it’s just names of songs movies and stuff.

This time its a movie, one i watched probably a few years ago on TV so cancel everything 3 years or newer. Okay in this movie the 3 main characters are guys, i think they were business men or something high class to begin with, something that made them stressed and so I think they decided to get away into the jungle. Either that or some other motive for them going into the jungle. Nonetheless, I remember this one hilarious scene when the three were at risk of hypothermia ( severe cold ) because it was raining very hard, they were drenched and had no shelter nor a fire. So as a resort one of them recalls having watched something on the discovery channel about huddling in order to combine body heat. Of course they were reluctant to this at first but soon they decided it was good idea and did so, at first, it was all fine until they starting having dreams. One of them started to get an erection and needless to say they pounced off each other immediately. This was all i could remember from this scene.

The next scene i could remember was when they were walking in the daytime and they found a massive tree house where two girls lived. AT this point they were extremely happy as this was the first thing that was good. After getting acquainted, a few tree harvesters came and threatened to cut the tree down, they refused and threw down ” poop bags” in attempt to stop them. That was pretty much in this scene.

To conclude, i think in the end one of the three men stayed back in the treehouse with one of those girls and the other 2 went back to live their daily lives. One of them lived with the other tree girl.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR HELPING

Best place in Kerala for $300?

For approximately $300, what’s the best place in Kerala to visit for a 2night/3day anniversary vacation in November? I’m looking for a serene and tranquil place where there is not much to do except enjoy the beauty of nature, and where there will be a wide selection of vegetarian food. I’ve looked at various themes so far: tree house in Wayanad, boat house in Kumarakom, tea plantations in Munnar, beach in Kovalam, etc., but am not able to narrow down to a particular place.

Please recommend an area and a resort, and explain why you think that’s the best.

Mike answers:

This is big amount for Kerala because there is not so expensive hotel

Sweet Stamper Collection from Pooh’s Friendly Places?

In 1999, Mattel released the Pooh’s Friendly Places collection consisting of 5 collectible friends, 4 cheerful times collection, 4 comfy corners collection, garden, and tree house. Then it released the 2nd collection consisting of 4 collectible friends, 5 friendship charm collection, and tigger house. My question is, did mattel ever release the 3 sweet stamper collection and eeyore’s hideaway? I don’t think I ever saw these anywhere in 1999. And was the holiday edition collectible friends part of the 2nd collection?
(Last time I asked this question it got deleted and i don’t know why. I asked Mattel and didn’t get any response so this is my last resort so please don’t delete it. I just want to know if those were ever released or not)

Mike answers:

No, I don’t think they ever made them. I have never seen them.
